The crucifixion of Jesus Christ on the Cross was the single most important act in the human history. Without His crucifixion we would have no lasting hope of any kind. The cross represented salvation itself.

The message the cross of Christ was ‘the power of GOD and the wisdom of GOD’ for us (1Corinthians 1:24).
Jesus had been the Word of God, made flesh and He had died on the cross for the sins of humanity. When Christ atones He pays for our sins. When He justifies, He makes us spiritually right with, GOD.
When He redeems He pays the note of debt of debt hanging over our heads, thus saving us from eternal death. Through His crucifixion, Jesus Christ is also the peace maker between humans and GOD. This symbolized by the cross. The cross is the focus of all redemption. It is here where the price to ransom humanity was paid by the death of Jesus.
Jesus Himself said, the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as. A ransom for many. (Mark 10: 45.).
Paul wrote that Jesus ‘’gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good’’(Titus 2:14).
THE apostle Peter said we are redeemed by ‘’ the precious blood of Christ’’ (1 Peter 1:19.).
The suffering of Jesus on the cross is played out in the lives of all God’s people.
